Shipping policy

We promise to send only the best / healthiest Fish, Shrimps, Crabs and Plants, when they are ready.

  1. We follow the most stringent and ethical protocols to quarantine your Fish and Plants before we ship them.
  2. We offer 100% Live On Arrival Guarantee, the Best in Best4pets means the healthiest.
  3. All livestock comes our Premium, Proven and Global Standard Packaging. Double-bagged, and filled with compressed oxygen plus wellness additives for live-on-arrival. For out of Bangalore orders we pack them in insulated and temperature controlled boxes, so they reach you safely.
  4. Given they are not made from plastics, they sometimes fall sick or die after you place the order. This means sometimes we have to keep the sick ones longer in quarantine, or ourselves re-order to replace the dead fish. So, the fish will not be shipped if they are sick and can be shipped only after they recover.
  5. We request that you respect and trust the B4P staff that is working day and night, to give you the best or healthiest Fish and Plants before we ship them.
  6. Given they are not made from plastics, sometimes perfectly healthy fish and plants die in shipment. We understand that nature is fragile, hence we have a clear and transparent Dead On Arrival policy for our fish.
  7. We cannot hold your fish if you are not in town after ordering or ship on specific shipping days. We ship Fish as soon as the fish are healthy.
  8. We follow a FIFO (First In First Out) policy. Please note that a quote does not act as a hold for the fish you have inquired about.
  9. If your fish are 'Dead on Arrival' as per our transparent DOA Policy. You can be given a coupon for the value of the fish only, no other costs can be clubbed or added.
  10. Our delivery is done by logistics partners. The delivery time is not in our control.


    Orders from Bangalore
  • We need 24-72 hours (1 - 3 days) to ship fish as they need to be quarantined.
  • Orders placed after 10AM, cannot be shipped the same day.
  • Our delivery is done by logistics partners, who deliver the same day as they are shipped. The delivery time is not in our control.

    Orders from 'Out of Bangalore' - Rest of India

  • Shipped only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, due to logistics challenges.
  • Orders placed after 10AM on Tuesday can be shipped only next week. As your fish travel longer, and need more time to get ready to travel. Just like you need more time to pack and apply for visas before travel.
  • Choose the right 'Out of Bangalore' shipping costs. Please pay attention as this is very important, your mistakes mean we cannot send your shipment in-time, as your order gets into a queue and we need to contact you when the staff gets free time.
  • Sometimes due to order spikes, and the size of our facility, it may take up to 36 (thirty six) hours to check stock after your order. 
  • Out of Bangalore orders can ship only 48 hours AFTER an order is "paid" for.
